It sits beside the register you already have and never replaces it. It runs what the register was never built to run: dance dollars, house fees, VIP rooms, taxi spiffs, the nightly cash-out, and the door. Then it checks each one against a record the staff did not write: what the register sold, what the door counted, what the drawer held.

The POS runs the bar. Nobody runs the club.

A register does drinks and food. Everything else in a club runs on paper, a spreadsheet, or software from 2003. That is where the money goes:

Dances and rooms sold and never rung up.
House fees quietly waived for the "pet" dancers.
Friends in the door for free, and no count to check it against.
Taxi spiffs (driver payouts) paid on the driver's count.
The cash-out done by hand, and years later a lawsuit asks for the records.

Whoever keeps the spreadsheet can change the spreadsheet.
